Code of Conduct
The Rath Eastlink Community Centre (RECC) is committed to providing a safe, enjoyable environment for all guests and staff. Please ensure your conduct respects the rights of others. Unacceptable conduct, such as profane or offensive language, physical violence, harassment, or any other abusive behaviour, will result in eviction without refund.

Venue Policies
No re-entry:Once your tickets are scanned, you cannot leave and come back.
Outside Food and Drink: During licensed or ticketed events, all food and beverages purchased outside the recc are strictly prohibited.
Free Parking at the Facility premises (subject to availability)
Illegal Parking: Prior to entry ensure your vehicle is parked legally, police may issue tickets and/or have vehicles towed if they are:
- Parked on the curb
- Parked in the street
- Parked on a crosswalk
- Parked on the lawn
- Blocking a fire hydrant
- Blocking emergency lanes
- Blocking hospital helipad access
No Flash Photography
Alcohol: Guests must be 19+ to purchase and/or consume alcohol sold during events. Any alcohol purchased outside of the RECC facility is strictly prohibited. The RECC reserves the right to refuse service and refund to anyone intoxicated or inebriated. Guest 19+ will be require wristbands. Bar - Last call 30 mins before show ends.
Security Search: To ensure a safe experience, upon entrance. Guests may be subject to random secutiy search protocols. Refusal to participate will result in refusal of entry without refund.
Smoking: The RECC is a smoke-free property, including cigarettes, canabis cigars, e-cigarettes, and all other vapour producing devices.
Prohibited Items: The following items are always prohibited on RECC premises:
- Outside alcohol
- Illegal drugs
- Firearms
- Knives
- Weapons

Hockey Tournaments
Despite enhanced spectator shielding measures, pucks may still fly into the spectator area. Serious injury can occur. Stay alert at all times, including during warmups and after play stops.
The ticket holder, on behalf of themselves and any accompanying individuals, including minors, voluntarily assumes all risks of property loss, personal injury, and other hazards related to the game for which the ticket is issued.
This includes, but is not limited to, the risk of injury from hockey pucks, sticks, other equipment, players, spectators, or thrown objects, whether occurring prior to, during, or after the game.

Accessibility
Dedicated primary accessible seating is available on the main lower level of the Rath Eastlink Community Centre Arena. Recommended entrance to the accessible area is the east entrance at the lower main level of the facility. We also offer limitted accessible seating in the Upper Concourse Level of the Rath Eastlink Community Centre Arena. These are accessible by elevator or from the upper west entrance of the RECC facility. One companion ticket can be purchased with each accessible ticket. Please purchase in advance by contacting social@therecc.ca.
Guests who require accessible seating, but did not purchase tickets in an accessible area, will be accommodated to the best of our ability and depending on availability.

Filming, Photography, Recordings & Transmissions
Notice of filming and photography
During your attendance at the Rath Eastlink Community Centre (RECC) and other at other Central Nova Scotia Sports & Entertainment (CNSSE) Venues, you may be filmed, recorded or photographed by CNSSE, and their affiliates, subsidiaries, and/or related entities, event partners and sponsor(s), or individuals working for any of the aforementioned groups.
By attending, you agree that:
- you may be filmed, recorded, or photographed as described above
- We may reproduce, publish, exhibit, modify, and otherwise use any photographs, films, audio recordings, digital recordings, or other content featuring your likeness, voice, statements, name (if you provide it), or actions.
- These may be used worldwide, in perpetuity, and any form of media including without limitation: social media posts, online video streaming, television, websites, and promotional campaigns.
- All use or licensing of the Materials can be made without further notice and without financial or other benefits paid to you.
