YOUTH STRENGTH 01
Youth Strength
This youth strength program helps participants build strength safely, move well, and develop confidence in a supportive environment. The program recognizes that young bodies are still growing and require age-appropriate training.

Each 1-hour session focuses on:

• Proper movement mechanics
• Age-appropriate strength training
• Coordination and balance
• Mobility and joint stability
• Injury prevention
• Confidence building

The emphasis is on technique, control, and gradual progression rather than heavy loads, supporting healthy development and long-term habits.

Build strong bodies. Build strong character. Create lifelong healthy habits.

GF Fit in Six
Designed to teach youth the fundamentals of gym-based training over six weeks, this program builds the knowledge and skills needed for safe and effective workouts!

Over six weeks, participants will learn: 
- Strength & Movement Fundamentals 
- Gym Safety & Etiquette 
- Biomechanics: Force Application 
- Introduction to Free Weights 
- Basics of Programming & Advanced Methods

Location: The Fitness Centre. 2nd floor of the RECC

Ages 12-15
$45 for Non-Members
$40 for RECC Members

Max 8 Participants

Youth programming logos KIDS NIGHT OUT
It's Friday night! And that means it's Kids Night Out! at the RECC! Each of our nights is a different kind of party, featuring an activity, food and socializing!
Ages 6 - 12
Fee: Members: $22.50
Non-Members: $25
