Update June 16th - We are open!

We have reopened the following:
🌊 Wilsons Aquatic Centre (Online registration required)
🏋🏽‍♀️ Fitness Centre
👟 Stanfields Walking Track
🏒 Community Credit Union Arena (including public skates and private rentals)
🧘 Group Fitness
💼 Conference Room Rentals (contact hfraser@therecc.ca for information)

The Koltech Climbing Wall will remain closed however we have plans to reopen that soon! Check out our employment opportunities if you are passionate about climbing and want to join our team.
The Sauna will remain closed upon our reopening. We will post online when we have a reopening date.

A few housekeeping items to note:

𝐖𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠!  Multiple positions are available. From day camp facilitators, housekeeping, operators, customer service, climbing wall staff and more. 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗷𝗼𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺!

𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝘁

𝗦𝘄𝗶𝗺 𝗟𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀  We have credited back those who have already paid for our previously cancelled sessions from the spring. Credits will be applied to your account and you are welcome to use your credit towards the next session or you can email us at social@therecc.ca and we can send out a refund cheque. ( as we have passed the 30 day window, unfortunately we are unable to refund directly back to your credit/debit cards )

𝗔𝗾𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 Aquatics programming will require pre-registration, and registration for the upcoming period will be available as of Monday at 9AM. If you have any questions or issues registering please email social@therecc.ca. Or you can call us when we reopen on Wednesday at 902-893-2224

𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀 For all of our members who have prepaid for their memberships, we will be extending your term for the length of our closure. For those who have regular payments coming from your account we have skipped payments during our closure and will resume payments after we reopen. As each account has different billing dates, some members may see another payment skipped to ensure credit is given for the length of our closure. If you have any questions about your account, feel free to contact us!

When programs or facilities close unexpectedly, we send out a text message to all of our Text Alert subscribers letting them know! To subscribe, simply text RECC to 767638 from your mobile device and follow the instructions when prompted. From your tablet or computer, simply click here and follow the instructions. 
Please note that text message notifications will only be sent out within reasonable periods of time during the day and within reasonable notice given to the welcome desk to communicate any unexpected cancellations.  Our online schedules will be updated as early as possible to reflect any cancellations or changes as well.
